The Manic Panic Pastel-izer lightens hair dyes to achieve a more neutral tone to your hair. Manic Panic Pastel-izer can be mixed with any Manic Panic hair dye to achieve a lighter, pastel dye that is totally on-trend. Like all Manic Panic hair products, this Pastel-izer is vegan and not tested on animals. It also benefits from a PPD free formula that conditions while dyes.

How many 118 ml pots will I need to cover my hair?

• Short to bob length hair: 1- 2 pots depending on the thickness of hair
• Shoulder to waist length hair: 2 - 3 pots depending on the thickness of hair. May require an extra pot to complete ends if the hair is thick.
• Waist and below length hair: 3+ pots depending on thickness

 
This product works best when you use a whole jar of Pastelizer with just a few drops of your desired color
 
Application
1. Wash hair with a deep cleansing shampoo, do not condition.
2. Dry hair with a blow dryer to make sure the hair is extremely porous.
3. Put on gloves and apply Manic Panic Hair Color using a tint brush making sure hair is thoroughly saturated.
4. Comb through the hair color to make sure it is evenly applied. The cream may become slightly frothy.
5. Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave on for 30-45 minutes. For more intensity, add heat.
6. Rinse with cool water away from your face and body until water runs clear. Do not shampoo.
7. Style as desired. To prevent color transfer, always make sure your hair is completely dry.
 
Pro Tips:

• Always do a patch test.
• Before dyeing make sure to use a pH-neutral shampoo to help the hair dye absorb into the hair.
• Use a hair dryer to evenly apply heat for 5-10 minutes of your processing time. This will help to open up the cuticle and allow the Manic Panic hair color to better penetrate the hair strand. Make sure to allow the hair to cool completely before rinsing out color.
• To keep your color fresh: rinse with cold water. Use Manic Panic Hair Freshener/ Dry Shampoo. Style on low heat. Add some of your color to your conditoner!
• We recommend lightening your hair with bleach before applying the dye.
