The hair's natural pH value is acidic. However, many colors and lighteners have an alkaline pH that causes the cuticle to swell, which can lead to fiber damage. Revlonissimo Color Excel Gloss's acid-based technology respects the hair's natural pH balance by returning the hair to its natural pH after a technical service and closing and sealing the cuticle, applying color without altering the natural base.

Pre-application allergy test:

To avoid an allergic reaction, patch test at least 48 hours before applying the hair tint.

Chemicals in hair dyes:
