PTFE spray (polytetrafluoroethylene) provides hygienic dry lubrication for all materials, such as metals, plastics, rubber, wood, etc., and is therefore an alternative to conventional lubricants and glide aids. PTFE adheres even to microscopically small irregularities, thereby imparting effective sliding properties to any material. The treated surfaces are water-repellent, dust-repellent and protected against corrosion, all within a temperature range of -50 to +280 °C.
